Call for nominations - volunteers to support RI Generation, Inc. "Chair" and "2009 Officers"
Existing members of RI Generations, as wish to participate, will become "official" board members as our organization begins to come together formally.
At the recent strategic session, members determined our business year to be January - December, with our annual board/members meeting to be held each May. Our three (3) principal officers (See), will continue in their roles until all officers are nominated and voting on for the 2009 year.
Ray Rusin will continue as Chair through July. A volunteer is needed to Chair RIG through December 2008 or until elected officers take the helm. Interested parties should contact Ray or Elizabeth Linden at the numbers listed below.
Nominations and volunteers willing to serve as RI Generations first full executive board are requested to submit their nomination with justification, and/or volunteer their willingness to serve. Executive Officer positions are needed for the following positions:
Chair; 1st-Vice-Chair; Vice Chair; Secretary; and Treasurer
Roles and responsibilities to be outlined in the final draft of the by-laws. All terms for one (1) year, with the exception of Treasurer which may be up to three (3) years.
